EM-AI-Agent 4.0 Guide
Your complete guide to the AI-powered research assistant for automating website discovery.
1. Download & Installation
Before you can use the AI Assistant, you need to install its dedicated Chrome Extension. This extension works together with the main E-Marketing scraper.
- PRO Access Required: The AI Assistant is a PRO feature. Ensure you have an active PRO plan.
- Download the ZIP File: Go to the Download Tab to get the extension file.
- Install in Chrome: Open
chrome://extensions, enable Developer Mode, and then drag the downloaded ZIP file directly onto the page to install it.
Do Not Unzip!
2. Login & API Key
Once installed, you need to connect the AI Assistant to your E-Marketing account.
- Open the Extension: Click the EM-AI-Agent 4.0 icon in your Chrome toolbar.
- Enter Credentials: You will be prompted for your API Key and your account password.
- Find Your API Key: Your unique API Key can be found on the API & Integration page in your dashboard.
- Login: Paste your API Key, enter your password, and click "Login".
3. Check Online Status
After logging in, the extension will show its connection status. It must be "Online" to receive commands from your dashboard.
AI is waiting for your command
If the status shows "Offline," please ensure you are logged into your E-Marketing dashboard in another tab. The extension needs an active dashboard session to sync commands in real-time.
4. AI Search Builder
This is your main control panel for the AI. It automates the process of finding relevant websites for the main EM-AI Extension to scrape.
- Enter a Keyword Query: In the search box, type a descriptive query for the leads you want to find. Be specific for better results (e.g., "real estate agencies in Dubai" is better than "real estate").
- Set the Email Count: The AI uses this number to determine how many websites to open. It will open approximately two tabs for every email you want to find to ensure a good success rate.
- Start the Search: Click "Start AI Search." The AI will take over, perform a Google search, analyze the results, and open the most relevant websites in new tabs for you.
5. Plugins
Enhance the AI's intelligence by installing and activating plugins. These filters help the AI skip irrelevant websites, saving you time and credits.
- Team Mode (PRO): Delegates search control to team members via the extension, disabling the dashboard builder for the admin.
- Visited D-Filtering: Prevents the AI from re-opening websites it has already visited in past searches.
- 4K Search (PRO): Loads websites in a text-only mode for maximum speed by blocking images and scripts.
- Skip Promotional Sites: Ignores social media, marketplaces, and e-commerce platforms.
- Skip Hosting & Developer Sites: Avoids web hosting providers, domain registrars, and developer platforms like GitHub.
6. WiFi Speed & Tab Limit
Manage how the AI interacts with your browser based on your internet connection to ensure a smooth and stable search process.
- Auto-Adjust Tab Limit: When enabled, the AI continuously tests your internet speed and dynamically adjusts the maximum number of tabs it will open at once. This is the recommended setting for most users.
- Manual Tab Limit: If you disable Auto-Adjust, you can manually set a limit (from 5 to 100). A lower number is better for slower connections, while a higher number can speed up searches on a fast connection.
7. Block List
Fine-tune the AI's search results by creating custom block lists for domains and specific URLs you want to ignore.
- Block Domains: Add entire domains (e.g.,
wikipedia.org) to prevent the AI from ever opening any page from that site. You can add multiple domains at once. - Block URLs: Add specific page URLs to ignore. This is useful for blocking a specific login page or a "contact us" page that doesn't contain the leads you want.
8. Search History
Review a log of all your past AI search queries, check their status, and reuse successful queries.
- Review Past Searches: See the keyword, number of tabs opened, and the final status (Completed, Stopped, In Progress) of each search.
- Filter by Time: Use the history menu to filter your searches by different time ranges, such as "Yesterday" or "Last 30 days."
- Reuse Queries: Click the "Use Query" button on any past search to instantly load that keyword back into the AI Search Builder, saving you time on repetitive tasks.
